For what it’s worth, I believe (Dr. Feenstra) got me to talk more than anyone else would have and I believe the whole running thing had something to do with it as well. I feel like I talked the whole time and I don’t even remember everything I said. Well played. I am not so sure I would’ve been as open or talkative in a traditional office setting.

Ever since I was a little girl I loved running. As I got older, got married, had my daughter and I got so busy that I stopped running. But after I heard about “Run for your Life” I thought I could give it a try. I joined the team and met one of the best running coaches, who helped me and trained me to run my 1st time 5k. After I ran the 5k, I felt so good that I finally had accomplished something that I always wanted to do. But it didn’t stop there. I kept running and training to run my second 5k. After I finish running that 5k, I received the best news that I had won first place for my age group! I couldn’t believe that I had won 1st place!!! I am so thankful for joining the “run for your life” because that was one of the best things I have done in my life. I was able to learn so much from my coach. She pushed me and made me believe that I could do it. Thank you so much for helping me make one of my dreams come true!!

The best part was that it got me out moving! Also, just knowing that I would be running with you guys on saturday mornings motivated me to get out on my own during the week...
"I ran 2.05 (miles) without stopping tonight!!! Thank you so much for coaching me through my strong hate of running, changing my viewpoint on what I consider weaknesses to be normal and, dare I say, strength. Although I dreaded this group...I am so thankful (a friend) talked me into it!! THANK YOU!!!"
