"Ever since I was a little girl I loved running. As I got older, got married, had my daughter and I got so busy that I stopped running. But after I heard about “Run for your Life” I thought I could give it a try. I joined the team and met one of the best running coaches, who helped me and trained me to run my 1st time 5k. After I ran the 5k, I felt so good that I finally had accomplished something that I always wanted to do. But it didn’t stop there. I kept running and training to run my second 5k. After I finish running that 5k, I received the best news that I had won first place for my age group! I couldn’t believe that I had won 1st place!!! There were more than 300 people at this race. I am so thankful for joining the “run for your life” because that was one of the best things I have done in my life. I was able to learn so much from my coach.
